# Quick start

> The five steps from sign-up to taking part in your communities.

    Sign up with your **company email** and enter the 6-digit code from your inbox. See [Create an account](/getting-started/create-account).

    If you are the first person from your company, also set up the company profile, or invite a colleague to be the company admin. See [Onboarding](/onboarding).

  <Step title="Join a community">
    Your company admin requests to join from **Explore**. See [Join communities](/community/join-communities).

  <Step title="Take part">
    Read news, join [forums](/community/forums), register for [events](/community/events), and follow [projects](/community/projects).

    Choose what shows on Home and which notifications you get in [Settings](/account/settings).
